ITES conducted two Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) training bootcamps in Blantyre and Lilongwe during September 2026, bringing participants together to develop practical networking skills.
The bootcamps emphasised learning by doing, combining instructor-led discussions with guided lab exercises, network simulations and practice using physical routers and switches. This approach gave participants opportunities to apply networking concepts through hands-on configuration and troubleshooting tasks.
Training covered core topics including IP addressing and subnetting, routing, switching and network security fundamentals. Participants worked through exercises involving device configuration, connectivity testing and identifying network problems, linking theoretical knowledge with practical application.
The interactive sessions also encouraged participants to ask questions, share approaches and work together through technical challenges.
